Tasting Notes A full-bodied wine, it offers aromas of vanilla, marzipan and cassis followed by flavours of cardamom and blueberry. An inviting, well-integrated red wine, it is the fourth vintage of our popular Merlot. Aged three years in specially selected French barrels, this wine comes has a balance of fruit and tannin to give it long-lasting aging potential.
Food Pairing
We like the Merlot with spicy rice Jambalaya, roasted fennel sausages, burgers and asian-style crispy duck pancakes.
It's also great with dark chocolate - think flourless chocolate cake, or a mole rub on a steak if you're feeling adventurous!
